In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the noblest of creation, his pure family, and his chosen companions. ﴿And say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”﴾ (Surah Taha: 114).

With knowledge and understanding, nations advance and prosper. The Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah both emphasize the pursuit of knowledge and learning.

The College of Dentistry is distinguished by its scientific, educational, and service-oriented nature. It attracts top-ranking students with strong academic backgrounds, possessing manual skills and artistic sense that help them excel in this profession both theoretically and practically.

The college is considered one of the most community-serving colleges, where students in the fourth and fifth stages treat patients with various oral, dental, and maxillofacial conditions under the supervision of academic staff holding advanced degrees from inside and outside Iraq in different dental specialties.

Thus, the graduate leaves the college with high scientific and practical competence, enabling them to take responsibility and deal with patients professionally and efficiently.

In addition to the Bachelor’s degree, the college offers postgraduate programs in clinical and basic sciences, enhancing the status of the college and university globally and supporting the labor market with highly qualified dentists at both academic and professional levels.
