In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

ضمن إطار تعزيز التحول الرقمي والارتقاء بجودة التعليم الجامعي، وبتوجيهات مباشرة من السيد رئيس جامعة بابل الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عجيل الياسري المحترم، وبإشراف السيدة عميدة الكلية الأستاذ الدكتورة سهى عبد الحسين هندي المحترمة، نظمت كلية طب الأسنان محاضرة تعريفية موسعة لطلبة المرحلة الأولى حول آليات استخدام نظام التعليم الإلكتروني (Moodle). وهدفت الندوة إلى تهيئة الطلبة الجدد وتدريبهم على بيئة التعليم الافتراضية المعتمدة في الكلية، مع التركيز على شرح الواجهة العامة لنظام Moodle وآلية تسجيل الدخول. وكيفية التعامل مع المساقات الدراسية وتحميل المحاضرات. وتوضيح خطوات أداء الامتحانات الإلكترونية والضوابط الواجب اتباعها. تناولت المحاضرة التي قدمها كل من (أ.م. عصام مرزا عبد الله) و (م.م. حسين حفظي عبد الهادي)، عدة محاور حيوية شملت: التعريف بالنظام: استعراض أهمية Moodle كأداة أساسية لدعم التعليم الطبي الحديث. و إدارة الحسابات: شرح كيفية الدخول إلى حساب الطالب واستعراض المقررات الدراسية. و الاختبارات الرقمية: آلية أداء الاختبارات الإلكترونية وضمان تسليم الإجابات بنجاح. و الأخلاقيات الرقمية: التأكيد على مبادئ النزاهة الأكاديمية والالتزام بالتعليمات الامتحانية. تأتي هذه الفعالية، التي نظمتها وحدة التعليم الإلكتروني بالتعاون مع شعبة الإعلام، كجزء من سلسلة أنشطة توعوية مستمرة تهدف إلى تمكين الطلبة من التعامل بكفاءة مع البيئات التعليمية العالمية، بما ينسجم مع متطلبات التعليم الطبي المعاصر. احمد ابراهيم
