In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

شارك الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور احمد شاكر حسين التدريسي في فرع العلوم الأساسية / كلية طب الأسنان / جامعة بابل عضوا ضمن لجنة لمناقشة أطروحة طالبة الدكتوراه / فيزياء (لآل عبدالله حمزة جبر ) في كلية التربية للعلوم الصرفة / جامعة بابل وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 5 / 8 / 2025 والموسومة " Chemical Co-Precipitation Synthesis Ferrite Material and Characterisation the Effect of Sintering Temperature on (Polymer Blend/ Ferrite) Nano-Composites for Modern Applications "، " تحضير مادة فراتية بطريقة الترسيب الكيميائي ووصف تأثير درجة حرارة التلبيد على المتراكب النانوي (خليط بوليمر - فرايت) للتطبيقات الحديثة ". في هذه الدراسة، تم تحضير جسيمين نانويين من الفريت ( الكروم والزنك وأكسيد الحديد (CrZnFe2O4) و النيكل والزنك وأكسيد الحديد(NiZnFe2O4) باستخدام طريقة الترسيب الكيميائي المشترك بدون تلبيد والتلبيد عند درجة حرارة (1100) درجة مئوية. كما تم تحضير( PS/PMMA - CrZnFe2O4 ) و (PS/PMMA - NiZnFe2O4 ) بطريقة الصب بنسب وزنية مختلفة لجسيمات الفريت النانوية (1, 3 و 5 ) %. وتم مناقشة الخصائص كافة بما فيها التركيبية والمكونات بشكل عام والخصائص البصرية والمغناطيسية والكهربائية وكذلك فعالية المواد النانوية بعد إضافة بوليمري (PS/PMMA) ضد نوعين من البكتريا وأيضا تأثيرها كتوهين لأشعة كاما وتوهين الموجات الدقيقة لتراكيز مختلفة قبل وبعد التلبيد. احمد إبراهيم
