In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

ألتقت السيدة عميد كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل الأستاذ الدكتورة سهى عبد الحسين هندي المحترمة بمنتسبي الكلية بحضور المعاون الإداري مدرس دكتور حسن محسن الرماحي يأتي هذا اللقاء بعد الانتهاء من الامتحانات النهائية للكورس الثاني للعام الدراسي 2025/2024 للنقاش في أمور تنظيمية بحضور جميع منتسبي الكلية ولإعادة توزيع منتسبي الكلية حسب الاختصاص والحاجة. حيث أكدت السيدة العميد بضرورة الالتزام بالمواعيد الدوام الرسمي وعدم ترك أماكن عملهم إلا للضرورة القصوى كذلك أكدت على نبذ الخلافات الشخصية والعمل على تقوية روح المودة والأخوة بين الموظفين وعدم ربطها بالعمل والمسؤولية المكلفين بها للنهوض بالعمل وخدمة الكلية نهضت رجل واحد. كذلك أكدت على ضرورة استغلال وقت العطلة الصيفية بالنسبة لموظفي العيادات التعليمية والمختبرات لأعداد وترتيب الأمور الخاصة بالعيادات والمختبرات وتنظيم العمل قبل بدء العام الدراسي الجديد. كذلك تم مناقشة العديد من الأمور والمشاكل التي تواجه المنتسبين والعمل على حلها. كذلك وبدوره السيد المعاون الإداري اكد على ضرورة ترتيب الوقت بالنسبة لتقديم الزمنية الصباحية والمسائية والإرسال الطبي وضرورة توقيع المسؤول المباشر عليها. يأتي هذا اللقاء خدمة للجامعة والكلية والمسيرة التعليمية والصالح العام. احمد إبراهيم
