In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

زار كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل فريق مؤلف من الاستاذ الدكتور عباس فاضل حسون و الاستاذ الدكتور لبنى عبد العظيم البياتي اعضاء اللجنة المركزية لمتابعة سير الامتحانات والمشكلة من قبل رئاسة جامعة بابل وكان باستقبالهم عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور وسام وهاب صاحب تأتي هذه الزيارة للاطلاع على سير الامتحانات النهائية الدراسة الاولية للعام الدراسي 2022-2023. حيث أجرى الفريق الزائر جولة تفقدية في القاعات الامتحانية والاستفسار من الطلبة عن نوعية الأسئلة ومدى شموليتها للمادة وعن المشاكل والمعوقات التي تواجههم وزيارة مقرات اللجان الامتحانية للاطلاع على الاجراءات المتبعة ومدى ملائمتها للقوانين والتعليمات النافذة. ورافق الفريق معاون العميد للشؤون العلمية مدرس دكتور جميله علي الكريمي ومعاون العميد للشؤون الإدارية الدكتور ميثم رياض وأعضاء اللجنة الامتحانية وفي ختام الزيارة اثنى الفريق على عمل اللجان الامتحانية في الكلية واجراءاتها التي اتسمت بالدقة والشفافية. احمد ابراهيم
