In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

أقامت شعبة ضمان الجودة في كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل دورة تدريبية برعاية الاستاذ الدكتور أمير حمدي العميدي عميد الكلية حول استمارة تقييم الأداء للهيئة التدريسية حاضر فيها الدكتور عمار عيسى مهدي بحضور عميد الكلية وعدد كبير من أساتذة الكلية. تعد عملية تقييم الاداء للتدريسيين واحدة من اهم اهداف المؤسسات التعليمية العراقية في وقتنا الحاضر وتم التركيز على دليل ملف تقييم الاداء للتدريسيين لتوزيع الدرجات على المحاور الرئيسية والمؤشرات الفرعية 2021/ 2022 و تضمنت فقراتها دراسة الية احتساب درجات تقييم الاداء وفق الفقرات المشار اليها في المحاور الخمس ومن ضمنها محور نقاط القوة التي تضاف مع إشارة للنسب المئوية كما هو معمول به في المحاور الاخرى وان عملية تقييم الاداء تهدف لتوضيح فقراتها المتضمنة في المحاور الرئيسية ليطلع عليها التدريسي وتكون له رؤيا واضحة عن عملية التقييم وكيفية احتساب الدرجة وتمت من خلال هذه الورشة شرح تفاصيل الدليل المرفق مع استمارة التقييم والتي تسلم من قبل شعبة ضمان الجودة الى مسؤولي الشعب ضمان الجودة وتم الاطلاع على الآراء البناءة للتدريسين بما يخدم تطوير عمل تقييم الاداء، ومحاولة نشر ثقافة الية تقييم الالكتروني للتدريسي بين صفوف التدريسيين من اجل تطوير ادائهم وليس لمجرد للحصول على درجة وانما لتطوير للذات. احمد ابراهيم
