In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

استقبلت كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل اللجنة الوزارية المسؤولة على إجراء الامتحان الالكتروني التجريبي الذي سوف يقام في كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل يوم السبت المقبل برئاسة أ.م.د. انور صبحي الجبوري/ عضو الفريق الوزاري للتعلم الالكتروني /كلية الحلة الجامعة وعضوية السيد حيدر محمد فاهم/ كلية الحلة الجامعة والسيد عبدالله حازم ياسين / كلية الحلة الجامعة والسيد حيدر عبد الرزاق مجبل/ كلية الحلة الجامعة وكان باستقبال اللجنة عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور أمير حمدي العميدي ومعاون العميد للشؤون العلمية مدرس دكتور جميلة علي عبد الصاحب. حيث تم إجراء امتحان تجريبي الكتروني لطلبة الدراسات الأولية مع تهيئة كل الاستعدادات الخاصة بالامتحان بحضور م.م. صفاء حكيم ومسؤولي وحدة التعليم الالكتروني وكان الفريق التقني الوزاري الدور كبير في تنظيم وتنصيب الشبكة في أربع قاعات دراسية و بطاقه استيعابية عالية. احمد ابراهيم
