In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

قامت وحدة التعليم الالكتروني في كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل الاحد الموافق 2021/12/5 بإجراء امتحان الكتروني (Moodle) لطلبة المرحلة الرابعة أمراض الفم استاذ المادة التدريسية استاذ مساعد دكتور سهى عبد الحسين هندي حيث تم تزويد الطلبة بالباسوردات الخاصة بالامتحانات الالكترونية وجرت الامتحانات بصورة سلسلة ولم تحدث اي مشاكل او معوقات في سير الامتحانات. احمد ابراهيم
