In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

نظمت كلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل ورشتي عمل بالتعاون مع كلية المستقبل الجامعة الاحد الموافق 2021/11/7 وذلك ضمن التعاون بين الكليات والجامعات العراقية وكانت مخصصة لطلبة الدراسات العليا الماجستير وأساتذة الكلية بحضور عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور امير حمدي العميدي حاضر في الورشة الدكتورة شيماء منذر محمد من كلية المستقبل الجامعة/قسم الصيدلة. عنوان الورشة الاولى تقنية الاليزاEnzyme linked Immuno-sorbent Assay ELISA نبذة عن الورشة تهدف هذه الورشة الى اعطاء فكرة تعريفية الى طلاب الدراسات العليا عن تقنية الاليزا كونها من التقنيات المستخدمة بكثرة خلال مرحلة البحث وتشجيعهم على الاستفادة من هذه التقنية في بحوثهم حيث تتناول المحاضرة تعريف التقنية وعرض انواعها و كذلك التأكيد على كيفية الاستفادة منها في اعداد البحوث العلمية كونها تعد من التقنيات المختبرية التشخيصية الواسعة الاستخدام وخاصة في تشخيص الفايروسات والامراض المناعية كونها تتمتع بالدقة الكبيرة. الورشة الثانية : تضخيم الحامض النووي باستخدام تفاعل البلمرة المتسلسل DNA AMPLIFICATION USING PCR TECHNOLOGY نبذة عن الورشة تهدف الورشة اعطاء نبذة تعريفية عن تقنية تفاعل البلمرة المتسلسل ( PCR) واهميته في تضخيم عينة الحامض النووي والكشف عنه كونها من التقنيات الدقيقة والمهمة لطلبة الدراسات العليا والباحثين وتستعمل بشكلٍ واسعٍ في علم الأحياء الجزيئي، حيثُ تعمل على إنتاجٍ سريعٍ لمليارات النُسخ من عينةٍ خاصةٍ للحمض النووي الريبوزي منقوص الأكسجين (دنا) مما يُمكن الباحثين من أخذ عينةٍ صغيرةٍ جدًا من الدنا وتضخيمها إلى كميةٍ كبيرةٍ تكفي لدراستها بالتفصيل. السيرة الذاتية - م. د. شيماء منذر محمد الديري - صيدلانية اختصاص. - تخرجت من كلية الصيدلة جامعة بغداد للعام الدراسي 2000 . - حصلت على شهادة الماجستير من كلية الصيدلة جامعة بغداد عام 2006 في تخصص العلوم المختبرية السريرية. - حصلت على شهادة الدكتوراه في الكيمياء السريرية عام 2014 من جامعة بغداد كلية الصيدلة. - مارست التدريس الجامعي في عدد من الجامعات داخل و خارج العراق وحاليا تدريسية في كلية المستقبل الجامعة قسم الصيدلة. احمد ابراهيم
