In 1988, the College of Engineering became the first engineering college in the densely populated Middle Euphrates region. The departments of civil, and mechanical engineering were the first to be established, followed by the departments of electrical, chemical, environmental, architecture, and biomedical engineering.

زار فريق من دائرة صحة بابل/قسم الصحة العامة/شعبة الصحة المدرسية مكون من الدكتور أحمد محمد صفاء و م.د. قحطان علي خليل يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 2021/10/19 لكلية طب الأسنان جامعة بابل وكان باستقبال الفريق معاون العميد للشؤون الإدارية استاذ مساعد دكتور ميسلون زهير حسين حيث تم مناقشة بعض الأمور والتأكد على بعض الفقرات الصحية استعدادا للعام الدراسي الجديد ومن أهمها التأكيد على متابعة الطلبة والتدريسين والموظفين بخصوص أخذ القاح واعداد الملقحين وتطبيق قرارات خلية الأزمة من تباعد واستخدام المعقمات ولبس الكمامات والكفوف وغيرها وقد أكدت معاون العميد للفريق بالتزام عمادة الكلية وعلى رأسها عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور امير حمدي العميدي لكافة التوجيهات الوزارية ورئاسة جامعة بابل بخصوص السلامة العامة والخاصة بلقاح فايروس كورونا. احمد ابراهيم
